This form is addressed to families seeking support for students who have represented the school in official events sanctioned by the Queensland Department of Education, including school sports, music (band or choir), arts (dance) and general activities such as chess, debating, STEM or robotics.
The P&C recognises and supports students’ achievements by providing financial assistance for costs associated with participation, such as uniforms, event registration, accommodation and transport (excluding food and fuel). Support is capped at a maximum of $200 per student per year.
To apply, parents or caregivers must complete the form, have it verified by the Principal or Head of Department and attach supporting documentation. Applications are assessed at a General Meeting, or a Special Meeting called specifically for that purpose, with the decision of the P&C Members recorded in the minutes and notification sent to the applicant family in the days following the meeting. Approved funding will be paid directly to the family.
