West End Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) has been proudly serving the West End community for many years, offering high-quality care and play based experiences. We welcome students from Prep to Year Six at West End State School to join us for before and after school care, as well as our vacation care programs.
As one of the largest OSHC and vacation care providers in Queensland, we are passionate about creating a secure, supportive, and respectful space for your children. Our programs focus on encouraging social interaction, developing problem-solving skills, practicing teamwork, exploring new activities, and ensuring that children feel happy, safe, and at ease in line with the My Time Our Place framework.

We provide a variety of healthy, delicious foods for breakfast and afternoon tea throughout the term. We provide breakfast, morning tea and afternoon tea for vacation care.
A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Educators are always actively supervising and appropriately qualified for assigned roles.
VACATION CARE
We offer a Vacation School program over school holidays. We only close for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.
OSHC Assessment and Rating
All approved child-care services are assessed and rated by their State and Territory regulatory authority, against the 7 quality areas of the National Quality Standards.
WESS OSHC was last assessed and rated in September 2018, and achieved an overall rating of ‘Meeting National Quality Standard’, with an ‘Exceeding’ for ‘Relationships with Children’.
