At WESS OSHC we take pride in the quality of our staff and the care that we provide. All of the staff at our service are qualified or working towards a qualification in an educational and or childcare related area.

Staff are required to have the following qualifications and these are updated regularly:

Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Asthma Management
Anaphylaxis Management
Mandatory Reporting and Child Safety

Staff also take part in regular Professional Development in a range of topics including:

Special Needs
Behavioural Support
Leadership
Educational Program and Practice
Health and Safety

Management Team:

Management team are employed by West End State School Parents and Citizen’s Association. Their main responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of the service, which including but not limiting to:

Staff recruitment, development and performance
BSC, ASC & VAC Program planning and evaluation
Compliance and liaise with ECEC department
Enrolment, bookings and accounts

Service Manager and Nominated Supervisor: Iris
Qualification: Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Business
Experience: 19+ years working with school age children & 11+ years as a lead educator and OSHC management

Enrolment Coordinator: Elaine
Qualification: Bachelor of Education
Experience: 14+ years working with school age children & 10+ years as a lead educator in OSHC and management

Program Coordinator: Katerina
Qualification: Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education and Care)
Experience: 9+ years working with pre-school age children & 6+ years as a lead educator in Early Childhood Education and Care and management

Assistant Enrolment Coordinator: Mia
Qualification: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
Experience: 6+ years working with children & 3+ years working in Outside School Hours Care

Prep/Junior Age Group Supervisor: Chandima
Qualification: Diploma of Children’s Services
Experience: 8+ years working with children
