At WESS OSHC we take pride in the quality of our staff and the care that we provide. All of the staff at our service are qualified or working towards a qualification in an educational and or childcare related area.
Staff are required to have the following qualifications and these are updated regularly:
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Asthma Management
- Anaphylaxis Management
- Mandatory Reporting and Child Safety
Staff also take part in regular Professional Development in a range of topics including:
- Special Needs
- Behavioural Support
- Leadership
- Educational Program and Practice
- Health and Safety
Management Team:
Management team are employed by West End State School Parents and Citizen’s Association. Their main responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of the service, which including but not limiting to:
- Staff recruitment, development and performance
- BSC, ASC & VAC Program planning and evaluation
- Compliance and liaise with ECEC department
- Enrolment, bookings and accounts
