Tuckshop

The multi award winning WESS Tuckshop provides high quality, affordable food to the staff and students of WESS. Run by our dedicated coordinators Helen Goupis and Chrissa Agyris along with assistants Dina Haztigeorgalis and Angela Kamarinos.

Ordering from the Tuckshop is easy – we have an online system with Flexischools.

Alternatively you can use the “brown bag” system. Brown bags are available for free from the tuckshop. Write your child’s details on the bag, their name, class and which lunch the order is for. Write what items they want and then pop the money in the bag. Don’t have the correct money? The change will be put into the bag and your child will have to remember to bring it home. We now have eftpos facilities as well.

Forgotten your child’s lunch!!!! Don’t worry the tuckshop will provide your child with a simple sandwich and piece of fruit and we will send you the bill.

Healthy food and drink supply strategy for Queensland schools
In recent years, levels of overweight and obesity in children and young people have increased dramatically. Overweight and obesity is usually a result of excess energy intake through eating too much food or the wrong type of food, combined with doing too little physical activity or being inactive for too much of the day.

The healthy food and drink supply strategy for Queensland schools is all about offering healthy food and drink choices to students in Queensland schools.
